We are Walking and Environmental Guides (officially registered with the AIGAE, Italian Association of Walking and Environmental Guides) with extensive knowledge of the footpaths and the countryside of Sicily, including the smaller islands. We have been organising and leading walks, treks, and walking tours here on behalf of various national associations for many years.

If you want to walk the many footpaths of our region, take advantage of our skills and our knowledge of the territory. You can join us on one of our organised trips or you can request your own itinerary; alternatively we can provide you with detailed descriptions of walks (footpaths, accommodation, agro tourism, etc.) that you can follow on your own.

Trekking tours, workshops for learning about and understanding the environment, volunteer work camps, bird-watching, maintenance of ancient rural paths, etc. are just some of the activities we run for the restoration, conservation and appreciation of our territory. Diverse and varied, with its splendid beaches, ancient settlements, gentle hills, untouched valleys and wild plains, the territory has huge historic and environmental importance; it is a land as rich and full of contrasts as it is sunny and welcoming.

Those of you who wish to rediscover your natural place in the environment will find the Kalura Association the intermediary you’ll need to connect with the environment itself in a spirit of mutual sustainability. Ours is a tourism that has no seasonal limitations and can be enjoyed all year round due to the mild climate and the variety of the territory’s landscapes (it is possible to go walking even when the temperatures reach 40°…along water courses or by the sea).
